Original movement-based songs and sing-along material that combines Eastern-European, South and North American folk music and dance for children and their peers of all ages.

Mike Kilmer is a New England Conservatory alumnus, who studied Third Stream music under Ran Blake and studied free jazz with Perry Robinson and Joe Ruddick, electric bass with Dave Holland and Bob Moses, performed with Herbie Hancock, Billy Martin (MMW), Walter Perkins, Bob Moses and Maceo Parker. He also worked with the Empire Loisada Samba School and released a record on Warner Brothers with his own band, Sweet Lizard Illtet in 1992. He has also collaborated on work with visual artists Ron English and Seth Tobocman.

He has been performing with and for children since his teenage years working with O Roe Electric Art Space in Hoboken, New Jersey. Now based out of Pensacola, Florida he has been involved with the Library program as well as Montessori school and the Story Sprouts program at Ever’man Natural Foods.
